Online Therapy in Arkansas

Therapy That Meets You Wherever You Are in Arkansas

Whether you’re in Little Rock balancing work and family, in the Northwest region navigating rapid growth and stress, or in a quieter part of the state feeling isolated or overwhelmed, mental health challenges don’t always wait for the right moment to show themselves.

And when you’re dealing with anxiety, past trauma, ADHD symptoms, or substance use patterns, it can feel even harder to figure out where to start.

Online therapy gives you access to consistent, effective support from the comfort of your own home. No commute, no waiting rooms — just a safe place to breathe, reflect, and heal.

I’m Erin Oden, LCSW, and I provide online therapy for adults throughout Arkansas. My work blends warmth and compassion with practical, evidence-based tools so you can feel supported and empowered.

Why Online Therapy Works Well for Arkansas Residents

Many people in Arkansas live far from major therapy hubs, or in small communities where privacy and access are concerns. Online therapy solves both issues — it brings professional support directly to you, no matter where you live.

You may benefit from online therapy if you’re:

  • Managing anxiety, chronic worry, or overthinking

  • Healing from trauma, emotional wounds, or painful experiences

  • Struggling with ADHD, focus, or motivation

  • Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself

  • Trying to change your relationship with alcohol or substances

  • Navigating burnout, big emotions, or life transitions

  • Wanting therapy that offers clarity, tools, and real-life strategies

The goal of therapy isn’t perfection — it’s support, stability, and growth.

Specialties for Arkansas Clients

My approach is practical, emotionally safe, and rooted in evidence-based methods. I help adults build resilience, confidence, and coping skills that make daily life feel more manageable.

Anxiety Therapy in Arkansas

Anxiety can affect every part of life — sleep, decision-making, work, relationships, and your sense of peace. Many clients describe feeling “tense all the time” or “unable to shut off their mind.”

In anxiety-focused therapy, we’ll work on:

  • Calming your nervous system

  • Reducing overthinking and “what ifs”

  • Breaking patterns of self-criticism

  • Navigating people-pleasing and perfectionism

  • Building coping strategies that actually work

Through CBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based tools, you’ll learn how to regulate more effectively and feel more grounded.

Trauma Therapy & EMDR in Arkansas

Trauma can shape how you see yourself and the world — even years later. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) helps your brain process painful memories so they lose their intensity.

Therapy is paced intentionally so you feel safe, supported, and never rushed.

Clients often seek EMDR for:

  • Childhood trauma or attachment wounds

  • Relationship trauma

  • Medical or birth trauma

  • PTSD symptoms

  • Persistent shame or fear

Healing doesn’t require retelling every detail. EMDR helps your brain shift out of survival mode into a more grounded, centered place.

ADHD Therapy & Executive Function Support

ADHD in adults is often misunderstood — especially in places where resources are limited or symptoms were missed in childhood. Many clients describe feeling scattered, overwhelmed, emotionally reactive, or “never able to catch up.”

In ADHD-focused therapy, we’ll work on:

  • Time management and organization skills

  • Motivation, follow-through, and productivity

  • Reducing internal shame

  • Creating routines that support your needs

  • Managing burnout and overstimulation

  • Understanding how ADHD impacts relationships, work, and identity

Using CBT, coaching tools, and strengths-based strategies, we’ll build structure and skills that help you move forward confidently.

Addiction & Substance Use Counseling in Arkansas

Substance use often begins as a coping strategy — a way to manage stress, numb emotions, or get through difficult days. When it starts to create more harm than help, therapy can offer clarity, support, and a path toward change.

We’ll explore:

  • Triggers and emotional patterns

  • Healthy coping strategies

  • Stress and anxiety management

  • Harm reduction or abstinence goals

  • Relapse-prevention tools

  • Rebuilding trust in yourself

Therapy provides non-judgmental support as you work toward a healthier, more stable relationship with yourself.

Body Image, Self-Esteem & Identity

If you struggle with self-worth, body image, or feeling “not enough,” you’re not alone. These concerns often deepen in adulthood, especially during major transitions or after years of internalized criticism.

Together, we’ll work on:

  • Disordered eating patterns (without focusing on numbers)

  • Body neutrality and self-compassion

  • Identifying critical inner narratives

  • Building confidence and resilience

  • Setting boundaries and honoring your needs

You deserve a gentler, steadier relationship with yourself.

What Online Therapy Looks Like

Sessions take place through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. All you need is:

  • A private space

  • A stable internet connection

  • A willingness to show up as you are

Therapy is tailored to your pace and goals. Many clients begin weekly and shift to biweekly as they gain tools and stability.

Insurance & Payment (Arkansas Clients)

In Arkansas, I am out-of-network, which means insurance is not billed directly.

However, I accept:

  • Lyra Health (EAP) in all states

  • Private pay using debit, credit, or HSA/FSA cards

  • Superbills for potential out-of-network reimbursement

Private pay is available to all clients regardless of location.
