Meet Erin Oden
Therapy That’s Both Compassionate & Practical
Why I Do This Work
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to helping people make sense of their stories — the messy, complicated, beautifully human parts that often stay hidden.
Over the years, I’ve seen how anxiety, trauma, ADHD, and patterns of alcohol or substance use can leave people feeling disconnected from themselves. My passion is helping clients find calm, confidence, and clarity — not just in session, but in everyday life.
My Approach
I believe therapy should feel like a balance of emotional safety and real-world change.
You’ll find our sessions warm and conversational, but also focused and practical. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back and practice strategies that help you move forward with confidence.
Modalities I use:
EMDR for trauma healing and nervous-system regulation
CBT & ACT for shifting thought patterns and building resilience
Strengths-based & Solution-focused therapy to help you recognize your capabilities
Coaching-informed tools for ADHD and executive-function support
Support for addiction and substance use concerns with non-shaming, goal-oriented care
What Clients Can Expect
My clients often describe me as warm, direct, and deeply invested in their growth. I’ll challenge you when it helps — always from a place of care.
You can expect to:
Feel understood and validated without judgment.
Learn tools to manage anxiety, ADHD, and cravings/impulses tied to substance use.
Build stronger self-trust and boundaries.
Experience real-time relief and insight — not just insight alone.

Outside the Therapy Room
When I’m not in session, you’ll usually find me outside — walking, hiking, or spending time with my family. I believe in practicing the same balance I help clients build: slowing down, finding joy, and making space to breathe.
